You can also expect protection from UV damage, road salt, acid rain, bird, droppings, tree, sap, & other contaminants. Unlike waxes & sealants, ceramic coatings are designed to last for several years- offering a long lasting protection while enhancing the gloss & shine of the paint, making your vehicles paint appear cleaner & more vibrant.

Polishing removes imperfections & contaminates from the paint creating a smooth, even surface for the coating to adhere properly. This ensures a better bond and a longer-lasting, more uniform coating.

Essentially it is a form of corrosion. its the chemical process in which the paints protective clear coat degrades due to prolonged exposure to common elements like UV rays, heat, bug splatter, bird droppings etc. Over time this causes paint to become dull, faded, & chalky. This degradation can lead to paint appearing rough & cloudy & in severe cases peeling & flaking can occur.
How to prevent Oxidation
To slow down the process of paint oxidation regularly wash , seal, & protect your vehicle from excessive uv exposure. Consider parking in a shaded area or using a car cover when able. It is beneficial to apply a wax or sealant every few months for a more advanced protection. explore options like paint protection film or ceramic coatings!
